Friends of Springwood Heath

This year’s Annual General Meeting of the Parent’s Association will take place in the school at 9.15 a.m. on Tuesday 2nd March. All Parents are very welcome to come along; you can enjoy a cup of tea and chance to talk to other parents and find out how you can become more involved in your child’s school.

Come along to one of our coffee mornings which are held every Tuesday, for a chat and an opportunity to meet other parents. You could get involved in helping the school and enjoy a swim in our school pool. For more information please speak to Miss Crawford or one of the Parents on the School’s PA.

The Annual General Meeting of the PTA will take place on Tuesday 17th November at 9. a.m. All parents are invited to join this meeting to discuss the current year ahead. If you are unable to attend this meeting but would like to be an active part of the PTA please contact Laura Crawford in the School.

We still run our coffee mornings each Tuesday in the Parents’ Room from 9.a.m.

Get those dancing shoes on again,  Springwood Heath Parents are hosting another Family Barn Dance, get your tickets now.  All are welcome to come Parents, Children, Family and Friends.  A professional group will be providing the music and moves.  Refreshments available.

Get out your check shirts and jeans for Springwood Heath’s first Family Barn Dance on Friday 20th March.

The Parents’ Association is organising a fun evening for parents and children to join together in learning or perhaps sharing some new dancing moves. They have acquired the services of a professional group to organise the event providing hotdogs and other refreshments.

Tickets will be limited due to the size of the hall, so come on, try it out, have a laugh and let your hair down..

THERE WILL BE A CHILDREN’S DISCO ON FRIDAY 5TH DECEMBER IN SCHOOL:

INFANTS  5.30 – 6.30

JUNIORS  7.00 – 8.00

TICKETS ARE £1.00 EACH AND WILL BE ON SALE IN SCHOOL DURING THE WEEK BEGINNING ON MONDAY 1ST DECEMBER.

yOU ARE ALL INVITED TO OUR BINGO NIGHT ON TUESDAY 9TH DECEMBER STARTING AT 6.30 IN THE SCHOOL HALL.  £1.00 ENTRANCE ;  WILL GIVE YOU TEA/COFFEE.  THERE WILL BE LOTS OF PRIZES.  PLEASE COME ALONG AND SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL.
